PODS and Energistics sign Memorandum of CooperationSeptember 3, 2010
The PODS Association, a not-for-profit pipeline industry association with the specific mandate of developing and maintaining the PODS Data Model and pipeline data storage and interchange standards, and Energistics, a not-for-profit consortium uniquely designed to unite upstream oil and natural gas industry professionals in a neutral and collaborative facilitation environment to develop and deploy open data exchange standards and to address E&P information challenges, have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation (MOC).
This MOC will allow both organizations to coordinate, cooperate, and share activities for the benefit of their member organizations, and of the oil and gas industry at large. PODS and Energistics will identify standards development and deployment activities that appear to be among those suitable for formal or informal joint sponsorship and/or joint member participation. |
