PODS Documentation

The PODS Technical Committee is proud to announce the release of the updated PODS Data Dictionary.  This document includes approximately 1500 pages of table and attribute descriptions, relationships, and foreign key constraints.  An example of the Data Dictionary is found at right.  Members may download the PODS Data Dictionary.

Other formal documentation for the PODS Data Model and its Implementations is also provided by the PODS Technical Committee, including Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERD), release notes, presentations, and the PODS Implementation Guide.  All of the relevant documentation for each new release of the PODS Data Model or its Implementations is contained within the PODS release .zip files available for member download from this website.  Formal PODS documentation which is not release-specific is also posted on Wiki-PODS.

Draft PODS documentation is also available on Wiki-PODS during the development process.  The intent of posting Draft documentation is to invite PODS member companies to test and comment on their company's experience with the information presented, so that the final documentation product developed has the widest most complete application possible.  The Draft PODS Implementation Guide is available on Wiki-PODS by clicking the link at right.  Wiki-PODS is available to PODS member companies.
